It's easy to get started as a client on Commiss.io. You don't need to create an account to request projects, pay creators, or purchase digital downloads.

You can request a project from any available creator on Commiss.io. Each creator will create listings that correspond to a type of creation and with a base price. You can use the "Request Project" button on any of these listings to send a request to the creator. 

Title: You should create a clear and concise title to help the creator understand your request, such as "Two person anniversary portrait." 

Deadline: If you need the project done by a certain date, you should include it here. Otherwise, leave it blank. Don't hesitate to include this, it can help your creator plan accordingly.

Licensing Options: Your creator may allow you to select from several types of licensing. You can do so here. 

Description: The most important part of your request, this is where you'll include any information the creator needs to help bring your idea to life. You should provide as much information as you think is necessary for your creator to help out.

Examples: Here you can upload references to give your creator an idea of what you're looking for. These should be as detailed as you'd like. 

You can always include more information later on when discussing with the creator through comments, so don't worry if it isn't perfect just yet! 

Once you're done, you can submit your request for the creator to review. You'll be brought to the project page, and can see your request and that it's pending review. You'll also be able to see the comments thread below your request at the top, and the actions available to you. 

Now you can wait! You'll receive another email when the creator has reviewed your request. 

Digital downloads allow you to purchase pre-made assets from a creator that might include comics, tutorials, books, art packs, and more.

When you find a download you'd like, you can use the "Get Now" button to make your purchase. When you click "Get Now" you'll be asked to provide your payment details to Stripe, our payment partner. Once you do, your transaction will be processed and you'll receive an email confirmation.

You'll also be able to instantly access your files under the "Download Files" option. 

Some creators may allow you to make small payments to them. If they allow small payments, a link will be available to do so on their profile page. They may also give you a direct link. 

Small payments are limited to $99 and are meant to facilitate tips, stream commissions, and other similar small transfers. You'll be able to specify an amount before sending funds.  

When you click "Send Money" you'll be asked to provide your payment details to Stripe, our payment partner. Once you do, your transaction will be processed and you'll receive an email confirmation.
